Terms and Conditions

Clauses

1.1: “You” or "Your" refers to the individual(s) who registers for a booth at the job fair.

1.2: “We”, “us” or “our” refers to the Nova Scotia Community College on behalf of the ‘IT Job Fair Team and Steering Committee'; all working in conjunction to operate the job fair.

1.3: These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Province of Nova Scotia.

Booking your Booth

2.1: Booking your booth will be done electronically via our website using our “Registration Form” unless otherwise stated. It is your responsibility to ensure the information you provide is accurate and up-to-date.

2.2: Should you need more than one booth, it's important that you contact us immediately to make arrangements. There are no guarantees you will receive an extra booth(s). This greatly depends on the availability.

Confirming your Booth

3.1: Confirmation of your booth for the job fair should take place no later than 7 days before the start date of the job fair.

3.2: Failure to confirm your spot by the specified date will result in your employer losing their spot at the event.

Cancellations, Late Policies, and No-Shows

4.1: In the event you cannot make it to the job fair, it's important for you to notify us. Call us via the number on our website, or email us via the email on our website to let us know you will be late.

4.2: Please notify us 48 hours prior to the start of the event if you wish to cancel.

Filming and Photography

5.1: Written consent is required for all photos and videos taken on NSCC premises.

6.1: Our website uses "Cookies" - small amounts of information stored in your browser. Cookies give you the ability to have a more user-friendly experience with our website. When you visit the website again, the website will load faster. This may vary depending on the browser you use.

6.2: By using the website, you agree to use cookies by default. If by default your cookies are off, you will not be able to receive personal service from us.

Third Party Advertising and Hyperlinking

7.1: We reserve the right to enable advertisements on our web page from an external source that is not from the NSCC. If we find the advertisements are not relevant and valid towards the website, we will remove them.

7.2: We allow organizations outside of the NSCC to have the ability to link to our website. These organizations may link to our home page so long as the link does not deceive users.

8.1: All content on the website is under copyright the NSCC and the IT Job Fair. All other use, copying or reproduction of any part of this website is prohibited except as permitted under the Copyright Act of Canada.

8.2: You may access or display pages of the website on a computer. You may print out and photo-copy the web pages for your personal use.
